Watcharee's cousin is making an appearance on our TV here in Florida! Yes, he is becoming a Thai monk as we watch!
OK, that is stretching things a bit ... well, more than a bit. Actually, a pre-recorded DVD from Thailand is picturing him on our screen.
As you can see the whole Thai 'monking' process is accompanied by a lot of music, dancing and drinking. Just about 180 degrees nicer than the comparable Catholic thing.
This afternoon we met Stephani and Robin at The Capital Grille for lunch. I brought along a camera and a sketch pad*.

As this is a weekday in September the chance of seeing any bikinis* on the beach are next to nil. Even the World Famous Elbo Room only had a few desultory looking customers.
* The only bikinis to be seen were on wooden girls; and they were behind glass.
Tri-X, Plus X, Kodachrome? Who? Light meters, range finders, screw-mounted lenses? What are these things? Focusing, reading depth of field markings, shutter speed adjustments, aperture changes? Why?
Yes, at one time long ago we knew all about this stuff. But, now I can't be bothered; I just aim the phone and upload the image.
So, I am passing these wonderful tools on to a very creative girl who will have as much fun with them as I once did.
PS: She will also get a rare Russian counterfeit copy of the Leica IIIg.
Does the Bahia Mar Yacht Basin ever experience a recession? But, maybe these big boats are just owned by banks. Could be owned by Russian billionaires.*
* Actually, one of them is owned by a Russian Oligarch**.
** Drugs or oil ... perhaps both.
