Rain ... all day.
When stuck in traffic in Bangkok you sometimes see the strangest things: A van with balls ... a fully functional restaurant on three wheels. Hey, but this is Bangkok.
It was here in the Author's Lounge at The Oriental Hotel, about nine years ago, that I first learned about sinsod. (*)
(*) Thai women and their farang husbands will well note the moment that they first jointly experienced this awakening.
In my next life I want to be a political cartoonist.

And, within hours the Bangkok weather can go from sunny to shitty.
September is our rainiest month. And, when the rain flies overhead our satellite TV gets blitzed.
What is happening here?
What you saw yesterday was a stunt for a Bollywood movie. The green ropes should have tipped you off (apparently green is used for stuff that you won't want in the final print (*)). (**) Anyway, the roof of the building near our condo is frequently used in movies and commercial shots. I don't really know why ... perhaps the background city scapes are good from there ... the rent is cheap ... it is close to Nana?
Whatever, it is a low budget movie.
(*) Green is easier to 'hide'?
(**) Though this green has nothing to do with Green Rooms in television studios ... in fact why Green Rooms got their name is not totally known. GOOGLE it!
In my next life I want to be a political cartoonist or a sports photographer.
